Free icons for Web Design
Icons can really make a difference on a website. You can decide to design them yourself in Illustrator or Photoshop but you can also find great icons that fit your website for free on the internet.

My favorite for quickly picking up an icon, the search engine works really well.

A selection of simple but effective icons that can be extracted from fonts.

Great selection of icons, with a lovely interface. 
Iconmonster.com
Iconmonster let’s you download free icon sets, great feature is that the sets are categorized by subject. Colorfull and complicated icons, not my style.

Lovely minimal designed icons.

Love fontello! Will have to use that also. There are some nice ones that go well with either Boostrap or Foundation of which both have their own set of icon-fonts.
Fontello is great, would surely recommend to check out Icomoon as well. It has a lot of the same icons as Fontello but you don’t have the hassle of the downloading the font.
